Marriage Doesn’t Change a Man: The Heartbreaking Story of Dilbara" | AS Your Voice |

“Do you also know a mother who believes marriage will fix her son’s flaws?” | AS Your Voice |

"Read the true story of a woman trapped in the myth that marriage would change her husband and the painful reality that followed."

Dilbara sitting alone, reflecting on her painful marriage experience. A woman symbolizing the silent suffering of an unchanging partner.

Story: | AS Your Voice |

“Today, we share the story of a girl whose home, dreams, and peace were shattered  all because her mother-in-law believed that marriage would ‘change her son.’

The son didn’t change. Life didn’t show mercy. And in the end, A innocent girl left for crying

Intro  | AS Your Voice |

Her name is Dilbara a name as beautiful as her heart. The apple of her parents’ eye, cherished by her two brothers. A delicate flower, raised with love and protected from every storm.

Then one day, a proposal arrived from a wealthy family a well-mannered, charming boy, sweet words, and a respectable home.

Her parents thought: ‘This is the right house for our daughter.’

The Marriage That Changed Everything| AS Your Voice |

The wedding happened. The first two days were fine. But on the third day, reality knocked on the door  the husband was involved with another girl. And not just one… many.

The family’s reaction? ‘He will change after marriage.’

The Silent Pain | AS Your Voice |

The mother-in-law’s taunt? ‘It’s your fault. If you were capable enough, my son would have changed.

Then began the real nightmare: domestic abuse,” “violence,” or “mistreatment. Dilbara stayed silent  because she didn’t want to burden her parents.

Her mother-in-law promised, ‘Once you have a child, he will change.’
A child was born… but the husband didn’t change.

Not even a bit. The baby’s innocent smile couldn’t bring peace into that house.

The Breaking Point | AS Your Voice |

For six years, Dilbara endured the pain. Then one day, when she simply asked, ‘What is my fault?’ her husband hurt her severely.”and divorced her.

Even today, his mother refuses to believe her son could ever be wrong because, to her, the fault will always lie with the girl.

Now, Dilbara is living not truly living, just surviving with her five-year-old child. Because that man not only ruined her life but also stole her will to dream.
And the man? He hasn’t changed at all.”

A Message to Mothers | AS Your Voice |
“My question is to all mothers who believe that marriage is the cure for their son’s flaws.
If you couldn’t change your son, how will the girl you bring into his life magically change him?

This isn’t just Dilbara’s story. It’s the story of thousands of women whose lives are sacrificed on the altar of blind hope.
Think about it  out of 100 men, maybe 2 truly change. But what about the other 98 women? And their innocent children?
Mothers, ask yourselves: is this a price worth paying?”
